I hope you are all having a great start to the week! Last Thursday I went to the Michael Jackson, Thriller Live. It is on tour at the minute around the UK, if you don’t catch them on tour you can find Thriller Live at the Lyric Theatre in London. Thriller – Live is a concert that was created to celebrate the life and career of one of the world’s greatest entertainers.
We were so tight for time all evening but thankfully we made it to our seats with a few minutes to spare before it started! I hate being late to shows, I feel like I miss so much if I don’t see it right from the very start! Ha
I couldn’t get any more pictures as they asked everyone not to and I don’t like to take pictures sneakly. How good were our seats huh!!
We had such a great night, the music, singing and dancing were fantastic! The show is all music with a small bit of storytelling. The cast did a great job of interacting with the audience, they had us up on our feet numerous times dancing and joining in on the songs.
If you are ever in London I would highly recommend seeing it, it is very different to all the other musicals on The West End or if you can get tickets for their UK tour it would be totally worth it.
When my friend told me about the tickets my mind went into overdrive putting together outfits and ideas to get dressed up for the show! Now what I wore isn’t overly dressy but I just had to give my new gold heels an outing 😉 It always amazes me at these kind of shows how little people dress up! Years ago people wouldn’t have went if they were dressed up to the nines! I still like to make some effort when I go to shows – its hard to beat an all black outfit, its my fail safe option 😉
So there we have it, a small review of the show and an outfit post to go with it 🙂
I hope you all enjoyed my post, I’ll be back again on Wednesday with another new one if you would like to pop back again 😀
If you’ve seen the show let me know what you thought of it? Or what is your favourite musical? I think one of mine has to be Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat or Starlight Express (its long gone from the West End but I lost count the amount of times I seen it)
